Add New Insurance Information in MyChart
If your insurance coverage changes, you can add new information. This can be done at any time in MyChart or during eCheck-in or in advance of your next appointment.
Important Note Before Starting: You will need images of the front and back of your insurance card. While you can do this using the web version of MyChart, it is much easier to do this on the MyChart Application downloaded on your smartphone or tablet.

Go To Menu
In your Menu, search for Insurance Summary.

Add Coverage
Click on “+ Add a coverage”.

Find Your Insurance Provider
Select your insurance company from the dropdown list.

Enter New Insurance Information
Complete all required fields to include:
- Member number
- Group number
- Policy holder
Additionally, you will need to upload a photo of your insurance card, both front and back. If you are doing this on your mobile phone or tablet, you can use the device’s camera to capture these images.

Select Submit
Select Submit to complete your insurance update. If you have more than one insurance, you can select the add coverage to add additional insurance plans.
