Creating and Linking a Reusable Step

This Standard Operating Procedure outlines the process for creating and utilizing existing step content within Topics.

1.) Creating reusable Step content.

Navigate to the Step back-end form page.

2.) Fill out the Step fields

Proceed to add the content in each of the reusable Step fields as needed.

3.) Locate the topic that requires editing.

Once the previous step is completed and the new step is fully published, proceed to locate the Topic that needs editing.

4.) Press click on the Steps Tab

5.) Check the option "Use Existing Step"

When the “Use Existing Step” option is checked, all step fields from the repeater content are hidden, and a dropdown field is enabled, allowing you to select the reusable step that needs to be used.

6.) Save the Topic content

As the final step, once you have finished editing the Topic content, click on Update or Publish.
